جزاء المؤمنين والمؤمنات في الآخرة

44:51. Verily! The Muttaqun, will be in place of Security(Paradise).

44:52. Among Gardens and Springs;

What is their situation like?

44:53. Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other,

44:54. So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes

Some of the sisters ask: don’t we have 7ooral 3ayn in Paradise?

Ali ibn Abi Taalib, radiallahu 3anh, says: Verily, the righteous woman (of this world) in Paradise will be more beautiful than 70.000 Hooris. And know (O sister) that on the day of Judgment if Allah has described them with beauty that has never before existed and unlike you, they do not get up for Qiyamul Layl, or fast, or be insulted/degraded for wearing the 7ijaab and be patient as you have done, and she hasn’t lowered her gaze as you have done. Whatever her situation was of trials, she hasn’t remained patient, for she has been created in Jannah. So how about you since Allah has heard your tears in the night and has seen your fast during the day and has heard your du3a and your tears and has seen the trials around you whilst you hold your Nafs. No doubt your situation is far greater than hers..

44:55. They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security;

44:56. They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire,

44:57. As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success!

I ask Allah Ta3aala to make us all of those who are al Muttaqeen and to gather us also of those who are al Mutaqqeen as Saabiqeen now in jannaatin wa 3oyoon.

May Allahs peace and blessings be upon Mohammad

* النصيحة *

"Seize the benefit of five things from the people of your time"

Ibn Abee Haatim (328H) ra7imahullah said: ‘I entered Damascus and came upon the students of 7adeeth, and I passed by the circle of Qaasim al Joo’ee (d.248 AH). I found a group sitting around him and he was speaking. Their appearance amazed me; and I heard him saying: ‘Seize the benefit of five things from the people of your time:

-When you are present, you are not known
-When you are absent, you are not missed
-When you are seen, your advice is not sought
-When you say something, your saying is not accepted
-And when you have some knowledge, you are not given anything for it.

I also advise you with five matters:

-When you are treated unjustly, do not behave unjustly
-When you are praised, do not become happy
-When you are criticized, do not become upset
-When you are not believed, do not become angry
-And if people act deceitfully towards you, do not act deceitfully towards them.’

Ibn Abee Haatim said: ’So I took that as my benefit from Damascus.’

Related by Ibn al Jawzee in Sifatus safwah (2/200).

حديث #2

اية الكرسي

It was narrated that Abu Dharr (radiallahu 3anh) said: “I came to the Prophet () whilst he was in the mosque and sat down. He said, ‘O Abu Dharr, did you pray?’ I said, ‘No.’ He said, ‘ Get up and pray.’ So I got up and prayed, then I came and sat down. He said, ‘O Abu Dharr, seek refuge with Allah from the devils of men and jinn.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, are there devils among men?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what about salaah?’ He said, ‘It is the best, so let whoever wants to, do a little of it and let whoever wants to, do more of it.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what about fasting?’ He said, ‘It is obligatory and it is good, and the reward with Allah is greater.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what about sadaqah (charity)?’ He said, ‘Allah multiplies it many times over.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what (charity) is best?’ He said, ‘What a person gives at times of hardship, or what he gives in secret to a poor person.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, which of the Prophets was first?’ He said, ‘Adam.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, was he a Prophet?’ He said, ‘Yes, a Prophet to whom Allah spoke.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, how many Messengers are there?’ He said. ‘Three hundred and umpteen, a great crowd.’ And once he said, ‘(Three hundred and) fifteen.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is the greatest thing that has been revealed to you?’ He said, ‘Aayat al Kursiy, “Allah! Laa ilaaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists…” [al Baraqah 2:255 – interpretation of the meaning].’” (Narrated by al-Nasaa’i).

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: “The Messenger of Allah (() put me in charge of guarding the zakaah of Ramadaan. Someone came to me and started grabbing handfuls of the food. I took hold of him and said, ‘I will take you to the Messenger of Allah (().’ He said, ‘I will teach you some words by means of which Allah will benefit you.’ I said, ‘What are they?’ He said, ‘When you go to your bed, recite this aayah (interpretation of the meaning): “Allah! Laa ilaaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al Hayyul Qayyoom (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists)…” [al-Baqarah 2:255] – until he completed the aayah. Then Allah will appoint a guard for you who will stay with you and no shaytaan (devil) will come near you until morning.’ The Messenger of Allah (() asked me, ‘What did your prisoner do last night?’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, he taught me something, and claimed that Allah would benefit me by it.’ He said, ‘What was it?’ I said, ‘He taught me to recite Aayat al Kursiy when I go to bed, and said that no shaytaan would come near me until morning, and that Allah would appoint a guard for me who would stay with me.’ The Prophet (() said, ‘He told you the truth, although he is an inveterate liar. That was the Shaytaan.’”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3101; Muslim, 505.

It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allah (() said: “Whoever recites Aayat al Kursiy immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.” This is how it was narrated by al Nasaa’i in al Yawm wa’l Laylah, from al Hasan ibn Bishr. It was also narrated by Ibn Hibbaan in his Saheeh from Muhammad ibn Humayr, who is al Homsi, and is also one of the men of al Bukhaari. The isnaad meets the conditions of al Bukhaari.

حديث #3

The Messenger of Allah (

) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade with His shade on the day when there will be no shade but His: a just ruler; a young man who grows up worshipping Allah; a man whose heart is attached to the mosque; two men who love one another for the sake of Allah, meeting and parting on that basis; a man who is called (to commit sin) by a woman of high status and great beauty and he says, ‘I fear Allah’; a man who gives in charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand is doing; and a man who remembers Allah when he is alone and his eyes flow with tears.” Narrated by al Bukhaari, 660; Muslim, 1031.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيماً

حديث #5
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah (

) addressed us and said: “O people, Allah has enjoined Hajj on you, so perform Hajj.” A man said: “Is it every year, O Messenger of Allah?” He remained silent until (the man) said it three times. Then the Messenger of Allah (

) said: “If I said yes it would be obligatory and you would not be able to do it.” Then he said: “Be content what I leave with you, for those who came before you were destroyed because they asked too many questions and argued with their Prophets. If I tell you to do something then do as much of it as you can, and if I tell you not to do something then abstain from it.” Narrated by Muslim, 1337.

#7 حديث
It was narrated from ‘Abd Allaah ibn ‘Amr that the Prophet (

) said: “It will be said to the companion of the Qur’aan (i.e., the one who memorized and studied it): ‘Read, advance in status and recite as you used to do in the world, for your status will be commensurate with the last aayah that you recite.’”

(Narrated by al Tirmidhi, 2914; he said this is a saheeh hasan hadeeth. Al Albaani said in Saheeh al Tirmidhi, no. 2329, it is hasan saheeh. Also narrated by Abu Dawood, 1464).

(What is meant by reciting here is memorizing.)

#8 حديث
It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah that the Prophet (salla Allaho 3alayhi wasallam) used to say, ‘Allaahumma inni a’oodhu bika min al kasali wa’l haram wa’l maghram wa’l ma’tham. Allaahumma inni a’oodhu bika min ‘adhaab al naar wa fitnat il naar, wa fitnat il qabri, wa ‘adhaab il qabri, wa sharri fitnat il ghina wa sharri fitnat il faqair wa min sharri fitnat il maseeh il Dajjaal. Allaahumma ighsil khataayaaya bi ma’ al thalji wa’l baradi wa naqqi qalbi min al khataaya kama yunaqqa al thawb al abyad min al danas, wa baa’id bayni wa bayna khataayaaya kama baa’adta bayna al mashriqi wa’l maghrib

(O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness and old age, and from debts and sins; from the torment of the Fire and from the tribulation of the Fire, and from the tribulation of the grave and the torment of the grave, and from the evil of the tribulation of wealth, and from the evil of the tribulation of poverty, and from the evil of the tribulation of the Dajjaal (Antichrist). O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart from sin as a white garment is cleansed from filth, and put a great distance between me and my sins, as great as the distance You have made between the East and the West).”

(Narrated by al Bukhaari, 6014.)

اللهمَّ إنِّي أعوذ بك من الكسل والهرم والمغرم والمأثم ، اللهمَّ إني أعوذ بك من عذاب النار وفتنة النار ، وفتنة القبر وعذاب القبر وشر فتنة الغنى وشر فتنة الفقر ومن شر فتنة المسيح الدجال ، اللهم اغسل خطاياي بماء الثلج والبرد ونق قلبي من الخطايا كما يُنقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس وباعد بيني وبين خطاياي كما باعدت بين المشرق والمغرب

#9 حديث
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (

) said: “Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock; the man is the shepherd of his family members and is responsible for them; the woman is the shepherd of her husband’s house and children and is responsible for them; the slave is the shepherd of his master’s wealth and is responsible for it. Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock.”

Narrated by al Bukhaari, 853; Muslim, 1829.
